PeoplesTel has completed the installation of the following national back-bone links: - Dhaka - Chittagong
- Dhaka -Dinajpur
- Dhaka - Khulna
- Dhaka - Shylet
This completes the infrastructure layout and network connectivty required to maintain the national back-bone. Along with the back-bone links, 73 new base stations have been installated for the expansion of the CDMA 450 network. |

Monday, 25th June 2007 BTRC has decided to issue license to existing PSTN operators to provide fixed and wireless phone services in Dhaka (Central Zone). PeoplesTel is one of the eligible companies to get this license and very soon will be operating in Dhaka after BTRC formalities are executed. Customers from Dhaka City, Tongi, Savar, Narayanganj and Gazipur district will join rest of Bangladesh in a reliable, widespread, convenient and cost-effective telephone and data service network. |
